Developments - Ben Varrey & Sentosa
Ben Varrey and Sentosa are two substantial harbourside properties in a small terrace alongside the picturesque inner harbour at Port St Mary in the south east of the Isle of Man.
IM9 proposes to carry out a substantial redevelopment of both properties to create two duplex apartments in Ben Varrey while Sentosa will be restored and extended to create a single family residence.
The project is currently at the design stage and it is hoped to commence construction work in the summer of 2010 with completion in the autumn of 2011.
Use of the latest building materials and techniques combined with meticulous attention to detail will ensure that the facades of the buildings are restored to enhance the streetscape. The numerous, unstable rear extensions will be removed to allow for garaging and the construction of a new rear elevation for both properties to include balconies offering stunning views over the harbour and surrounding coastline.
